HOME PAGE DASHBOARD FEATURES

The Home Page provides Users the facility to configure the Centric 8 dashboard. Users can add, edit or remove one or more widget panes using the Configure Dashboard feature.

 To turn on the Configure option

1. On login, the Configure dashboard option is turned off by default.

2. To configure the dashboard, click on the Configure option. The Add a new pane from the following widgets option will be displayed.

 To configure the Dashboard

1. Click on the Configure option to turn it on.

2. From the Add a new pane from the following widgets... section, click on a widget pane to be included in the Dashboard.

3. The Style Management Widget provides the following options for a widget pane:

• Issues

• Orders

• Styles

• Samples

• Supplier Quotes

• Supplier Requests

4. The Material Management Widget provides the following options for a widget pane:

• Orders

• Materials

• Samples

• Supplier Quotes

• Supplier Requests

 To edit a widget pane

1. To edit an existing widget pane, use the following options:

1. Refresh: Click on this icon to refresh the existing widget pane.

2. Drag-and-Drop icon: To drag-and-drop a widget pane from one location on the Dashboard to another location, click on the drag-and-drop icon and simultaneously move the pane to the required location on the dashboard.

3. Copy: Click on this icon to copy an existing widget pane.

4. Custom Views: Click on this icon to customize the view of the table within the widget pane.

5. Remove: Click on this icon to remove the widget pane from the Dashboard.

NOTE: Once a widget pane is removed from the Dashboard, it is available in the Add a new pane from the following widgets section for users to add it to the Dashboard if required.

 To change the header/title of a widget pane

1. Click on the Configure option to turn it on.

2. Click on the Name field of the required widget pane. Edit the details as required.

EXAMPLE: Add a Styles widget pane from the Style Management widget.

1. Click on the Configure option to turn it on.

2. From the Add a new pane from the following widgets... section, click on the Style Management widget.

3. In the Add a new pane dialog box, enter details for the following fields:

• Choose a Widget: From the drop-down list, select Styles.

• In Season: From the drop-down list, select Season 1 - Fall 2018.

• Pane Name: Enter the text Style Reviews - Fall 2018.

4. To save the details of the new widget pane, click on the Save button.

5. The widget pane is now displayed in the Dashboard.

6. To add a chart to the Styles Widget pane, click on the Chart icon present on the table toolbar.

7. Enter details in the Chart dialog box and click on Finish. The chart will be displayed in the Widget pane as follows.

NOTE: You can toggle between display of Chart and display of Table using the Chart / Table icons.
